Regardless of whether you’re the person who brings the entire changing table in your baby bag or leaves the home with a handful of wipes and some diapers the on the go diaper change with a wiggly baby can be a feat of quick reactions, timing, and a little luck. Pre COVID having traveled with our little men on planes, trains, and automobiles I’ve done my share of playing the floor is lava in cramped airplane and gas station bathrooms.
From a drivers perspective I get it, you didn’t expect to roll up on this accident when coming home late from work at 9:30pm. Seeing me in the road is a surprise and a traffic pattern change is an unwelcome addition to a stressful day. Still, there’s someone behind me that needs help and people I care about trying to come to their aid.
Like many runners I cant stand having something in my hands on long training runs. The bouncing of the flashlight or headlamp was tiring and at times made me sick. Even while trail running in Colorado it made sense to bring as much daylight as possible on my runs – One evening my wife and I ran up on a Wolf!
